Structuring scalable web applications: Hexagonal / Clean Architecture boundaries, Domain-Driven Design (DDD) aggregate roots, and strict TypeScript types.

Clean Architecture separates core enterprise business logic from database frameworks, web protocols, and UI rendering layers.

1. Hexagonal Boundary Layers

Domain Entities: Pure TypeScript business objects and value types devoid of ORM or web framework dependencies.
Use Cases (Application Services): Orchestrating transactions, invoking repository interfaces, and dispatching domain events.
Adapters & Controllers: Express / Fastify HTTP handlers and MongoDB / PostgreSQL repository implementations.
